Welcome to Autumn Term 2. We hope you have had a restful half term.

This week, in Maths we will be looking at the place value of numbers. We will be using Dienes to help us identify the tens and ones. For example (18- it has 1 ten and 8 ones). Children will have the opportunity to explore making numbers up to 30 using manipulatives (cubes, Numicon pieces, Dienes and cubes).

Our new Science topic is Materials and in History, we are going to compare old and new toys.
