Although we have learnt about apostrophes before (for contractions), we will begin to learn how to use an apostrophe for possession this week! In maths we will be working with money and learning how to add and subtract it. We are also VERY excited for World Book Day on Friday and would ask that your child bring in a cardboard box for an activity we will be doing on the day - cereal box size is about perfect! Thank you! Finally, as you may have noticed we are very lucky to have Miss Smith joining us in 3 Ash. Miss Smith is a student teacher and will be working alongside Mrs Smith and Mrs Bell. Miss Smith is a fantastic addition to the team and we know the children will benefit from having her join the Year 3 Team!
