RECEPTION

In Reception this week, the children are carrying on with their topic around Dinosaurs!  We learnt a lot of interesting facts last week after finding dinosaur footprints in our classroom!  We will be using the story 'Stomp, Dinosaur, Stomp' to help our writing.  In Maths, we are continuing to look at subtraction and practise our skills of subtracting one number from another and being able to talk about what we have done.

In Maths, we are going to look at Geometry. We will be exploring how to halve shapes and how to find halves of amounts.

On Friday, 17th March, it is Red Nose Day/Science Day. It will be such a fun day with 4 different investigations to take part in.
