School Meal Increase
This is to let you know that as of 1st September 2017 school meals will increase by 10p per day. This will make a child’s school meal £2.10 per day and £10.50 per week.
Unfortunately, this increase has been passed onto the school from our catering company due to an increase in the living wage and food costs rising. The increase will be passed onto the school from the 1st June 2017, but the school will incur the extra charge and not raise the charge to parents until September.
The cost of school meals has stayed the same at the school since 2011, despite rises in costs, so we hope this doesn’t cause you too much inconvenience.
Payments will still need to be made via the School Gateway and from September, all meals will need to be paid for in advance to prevent you receiving reminder notifications.
