Parent Workshops
Gray's Farm in partnership with Bromley Adult Education are holding the following courses free of charge for parents to attend:
Fun with Phonics (EYFS Only): 28th September to 19th October 2017
Thursdays 9am to 11am
Create fun activities to help your child with phonics
- Make games, cards, spelling wheels, create rhymes or story books
- Understand how phonics is taught in schools
- Improve your own understanding of basic grammar and punctuation
- Encourage your child's story telling and story writing skills
- Friendly, approachable adult education tutor

Additional Language Course (Open to all parents): 6th October to 1st December 2017
Fridays 9.15am to 11.15am
Join our English as an Additional Language course for adults. Improve your English and learn to help your child at school and at home.

Story Sacks (EYFS Only): 2nd November to 30 November 2017
Thursdays 9am to 11am
Join this short course and create "props" to go with the storybook provided, or a favourite book. Make items such as puppets, games, puzzles or flashcard, learn a rhyme each week and storytelling skills that will bring the book to life! Help your child with reading, speaking and listening and have fun! Activities focus on developing numeracy (numbers, counting, shapes, adding and subtracting).
