Year 3 - Stone Age Day
As you will already know from our recent topic web, we have started learning about the Stone Ages this half term.
We will be having an ‘Stone Age’ WOW day in school on Tuesday 17th October 2017. The children are invited to dress up in stone age style clothing. This does not need to be elaborate, anything animal print or dark brown or black t-shirts would be ideal or something like the photos below. Of course, if you want to create something more intricate that is fine too. If you would prefer your child not to dress up, that is fine as well.
Please make sure that clothing is suitable for the school environment, for example midriffs should be covered. If you require any further guidance on appropriate costumes, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
It would be lovely if your child come in Stone Age clothes as we will be carrying out our very own Year 3 Stone Age catwalk! Parents will be invited to watch in the afternoon, details to follow.
