Year 5 Trip to The British Museum
As part of their topic on Ancient Greece, Year 5 will be visiting The British Museum on Friday 20th October 2017. The children will have the exciting opportunity to learn more about life in Ancient Greek times and see some real artefacts from that era!
There is no fee to be paid for this trip however the last day that confirmation can be made is Friday 13th October. Consent can be given via the School Gateway even though there is no payment to be made.
Please provide your child with a packed lunch in a disposable bag observing our no-nuts policy. If your child is entitled to free school meals, you will receive a separate slip for you to request a packed lunch. This must be returned no later than Friday 13th October.
You may give your child up to £3 cash in a named purse/wallet/envelope which they can use when we visit the gift shop.
Children should wear school uniform with a coat and sensible shoes. Normal school day hours apply. We will be travelling on public transport (bus, train, underground).
We would like two parent volunteers to accompany us on this trip. If you are interested, please speak to either Mrs Cushing or Mrs Marlow.
