NURSERY

We shall continue our topic on Jack and the beanstalk in nursery. We have now planted our beans and will be taking the opportunity over the coming weeks to water and observe their growth.

During this time we shall be exploring size and height and using lots of interesting ways to measure not only our plants but ourselves.

Please continue to check tapestry and upload all the wonderful things you do at home so we can share them in class.

Thank you for your support.

RECEPTION

We will be continuing with our Pirate theme, and beginning to write stories about treasure! In mathematics we are recapping doubling and beginning to link it to halving. Recapping all taught sounds in phonics is ongoing.

With the improvement in the weather, please send your child in with a sun hat and bottle of water.

Each week ten children will be going to Baycroft to engage in activities with some of the residents. Please return the photograph permissions slip if you have not already done so.

We would like to revamp our little garden: if you would like to donate any bedding plants or seedlings, please see one of the staff.
