Non-residential Year 6 Activity Week

Graysgenerictwitter

As you may know, after the SATs, some of the children will be going on a residential trip to Kingswood. While they are enjoying their time away from school and the formal curriculum, we will in no way be missing out on the fun - why should we?

We have organised for the remaining children to spend two days out in the local area, which I am sure they will thoroughly enjoy. The children will be visiting the following attractions:

Monday 21st May – Bowling and pizza making at Pizza Express, Orpington
Tuesday 22nd May – AirJump and the park, Orpington
Wednesday 23rd May – In school activities

Whilst the majority of these activities will be free of charge, the combined cost for bowling and visiting AirJump is £25. There is no cost for travel as the children go free on the bus.

The children will need to come into school at the usual time and in full school uniform. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch for the trips (preferably in a plastic bag). If your child has free school meals, you will receive a separate letter for this.

Please give permission and pay £25 via the School Gateway by Friday 11th May. If you are experiencing difficulties paying on the Gateway or would like the funds to come out of your account instantly, the office can print a barcoded voucher which can be taken to any PayPoint outlet and used to make payment. As the trip is not an educational visit, unfortunately if the full payment is not received by Friday 11th May, your child will not be able to attend the paid visits. In this scenario, alternative provision will be made for them within school.
