Week Beginning: 24th January 2021

NURSERY

We have now settled our new nursery children and are pleased with how our older children have welcomed them.

We shall continue our story topic of Peters Pebbles and how each animal in the story plays an important part. Please bring a pebble by Thursday 27th January, so the children can paint their own animal pebble.

We are integrating numbers into real life routines, 3 cups for 3 children and the relationship between number and quantity.

Please check out the board outside the nursery for daily updates.

RECEPTION

In Reception this week we will be sharing the story 'Aliens Love Smelly Jelly' and making up our own alien food menu by changing sounds in words to sound like alien words. We will also be drawing illustrations of the alien foods. We will be making our own alien recipes in the outdoor area. In Maths, we will be looking at finding 1 less than a given number.
