Macmillan Coffee Morning
Macmillan Coffee Morning – 28th September
Please come and join us on Wednesday 28th September as we will be participating in ‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, which is Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest charity fundraising event.
This year, we would welcome donations of homemade or shop bought cakes that the children can sell on the day to raise money for this very worthwhile charity. Cakes can be sent into school on Tuesday 27th September. If they are in containers you would like returned, please make sure that they are clearly labelled with your child’s name and class.
As I am sure you are all aware, we have several children in the school with severe peanut allergies. In order to keep them safe, please ensure any cakes brought into school do not contain nuts or traces of any nut products.
Each class will have a set time in the hall when parents will be invited to come in, meet the class Teacher/TAs, see your children and buy a coffee and cake. If you are sending money in with your child, please ensure it’s in a named envelope or purse; small change and no notes would be helpful.
If you are able to help throughout the day (not just when your child’s class has their allocated slot) please contact the school office with your details. Any help would be much appreciated, even if it is just for an hour or two.
Listed below is the timetable for the day:
|Dining Hall||Main Hall|
|9:15-9:45 Year 5||10:00-10:30 Reception|
|10:45-11:15 Year 3||11:30-12:00 Year 4|
|2:00-2:30 Year 1||1:15-1:45 Year 2|

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on that day.
