Malcolm fuller

Malcolm Fuller (Acting Chair of Governors)

I am a Community Governor and have been involved with Gray's Farm since September 2014. I am now retired, but prior to that I was a public servant for over 40 years. Over this lengthy career I gained extensive experience and knowledge of the workings and operational requirements of a large and complex organisations through performing a variety of operational and support functions. My experience encompassed Contract Management, Resources and Facilities Management, Strategic Planning and Performance Management. As a local resident I am committed to ensuring that Gray's Farm provides excellent learning opportunities to every pupil within the school and gives them best possible start in life with a great education, in a happy school community.

Louise lynch

Louise Lynch (Executive Headteacher)

I have been the head teacher of Royal Park since June 2014 and have driven standards and overall school improvement during this period. I have been in the teaching profession for 12 years and during this time I have worked in 2 outstanding schools, in the inner city boroughs of Southwark and Greenwich, where I was Head of School.  Since joining TKAT in 2016, I have been given the privilege of becoming Executive Head Teacher over Royal Park and Grays Farm.  I am very much looking forward to developing a strong cohesive partnership across the two schools and fulfilling our joint ambition to become outstanding.

Claire LAST

Claire Last (Appointed Parent Governor)

I am a housewife and have two children.  My youngest currently attends Gray's Farm Academy and my eldest went to Gray's Farm for the duration of her primary education.  I am a Parent Governor and am keen to support the Head of School and staff to bring out the best in every child at the school.  I have been an active member of the PTA Committee for many years and also the newly formed Parents Forum.

Ravi patel

Ravi Patel (TKAT Governor)

I currently work as a product manager for an education technology company. We help schools learn from their data, so it was about time I put some of the things I have learnt in to practice for an actual school! I graduated in 2011 with a degree in Finance but I became passionate about the education sector after conducting research around higher education systems in the UK and the USA. I often speak to teachers and Head Teachers who have told me about the valuable role that Governors play in ensuring schools are providing a safe and nurturing environment for pupils. I look forward to working with the other governors and ensuring we can have a positive impact on Gray’s Farm Primary Academy and the future success of it students.

Steven jones

Steven Jones (Parent Governor)

I am a former Royal Marine, currently managing my own Building & Electrical Contractors with over 7 years experience. I have 2 young children who attend Gray’s Farm I have taken a keen interest in the school which is why I wanted to become a governor. I am keen to continue supporting all members of staff and pupils at the school to ensure the pupils get the best education in a safe caring environment.

Rachel cushing

Rachel Cushing (Staff Governor)

I have been teaching in Year 6 at Gray's Farm Primary since my NQT year in 2012 and am now leader of Science. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the media industry at a post-production facility where I met my husband. Having been part of Gray's Farm through its transition from school to academy and on its journey to becoming the outstanding school it deserves to be, I am looking forward to contributing further to the school and ensuring children - and staff - are happy and safe.

Nicola abrahams

Nicola Furneaux (Associate Headteacher)

I have worked in education for over 14 years and have always been passionate about getting the very best for the children in my care.  I have worked within Kent, Bromley and Manchester in a variety of leadership roles, including supporting schools across the south-east as an advisory teacher, before coming to Gray's Farm. Having worked here for the last 2 and a half years, I know that Gray's Farm is a great place to be and that the role of the governors is crucial to the success of the school. I am delighted that we have a newly-formed governing body and look forward to working with them as the school goes from strength to strength.
