Friends of Gray’s Farm PTA 

FOGF (Friends of Gray’s Farm) is the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Gray’s Farm Primary Academy.

We are like you, parents/carers of children at Gray’s Farm Primary Academy who want to get a bit more involved and encourage closer links between home and school, you are automatically a member of FOMP. How involved you become is up to you.
We organise fun activities and events for the children (and adults) and fundraise at the same time.

What fundraising have we done this year? 

FOGF have worked together to organise and run events to raise money for the school Since January 2025, that goes directly into resources and experiences for the children. 

Since January last year we hosted a number of events to raise money, including:

• Easter Egg Raffles 
• Book Sale 
• Wear Red for Valentines Day 
• Tuckshop (after school on a Friday for the Summer term) 
• Sponsored Bounce 
• Monster Ball
• Christmas Fair

All of the money we raise is spent on resources to improve a particular area of the curriculum or school environment.  PTA funds are for the ‘extras’ not provided by the school budget, that make our children’s learning experiences so much more fulfilling and exciting. We always endeavour to spend our funds in ways that will benefit all our children, across all areas of the school and curriculum.

How can I become involved in FOGF?

We are always looking for new people who bring fresh ideas and valuable skills. There are many different ways you can become involved, whether you have lots of time to offer or not. We are a diverse school and we really want to run events that appeal to everyone. FOGF would love to hear from you about any fundraising ideas you may have and any skills that may help FOGF go from strength to strength.

Some of the committee roles are more time-consuming, (though fun too!), but there are lots of other ways to support FOGF - attending meetings, helping out at events/activities or simply coming along and supporting the various activities held throughout the year! 

Giving a little of your time in any event or project we undertake really can make a difference.
Most importantly, coming along and supporting our events!
