New School Year
It's September 1st and that means the new school year is imminent! A reminder that this coming Monday and Tuesday (4th & 5th September) are INSET days and the school re-opens on Wednesday 6th September. We look forward to welcoming back all the children!
If you haven't already download the Gray's Farm App, the app is free from the app store on both Apple and Android devices and allows you to get the latest news and events straight to your mobile device on the go. If you already have the app don't forget to update your app notification settings to ensure you are getting the right messages for your child's new year group. You can do this by clicking "MORE" from the front screen, then choosing "SETTINGS", from here you can select which year groups you wish you receive news and notifications about on your device, please remember to leave the "Whole School / Urgent" messages option selected to ensure you receive important messages from the school through the year.
It's been a very busy summer holiday across Gray's Farm, we've seen the main entrance to the school re-fitted, we've removed the big glass wall at the front of the school along with the wall separating the main office from the waiting area to create a new open plan reception area, in addition new flooring and suspended ceiling has been installed in this area. The finishing touches are still being added as we speak, we will post some pictures of the new space online on Monday!
Across the rest of the school the main hall has been re-decorated and new curtains installed, this is a two part project with a new suspended ceiling and lighting due to be installed at a later date, heading outside and we've replaced the majority of the old fencing on the playground and field side areas with brand new vibrant coloured fencing.
