Let's Get Cooking

Last half-term, eight families from years 5 and 6 took part in our new cooking course 'Let's Get cooking'. Over the course of 5 sessions, the children learnt how to cook (from scratch) two starters, four main meals and two deserts. In the final week, the children prepared and served, a three course meal (of their choice) for their family members and teaching staff. The course was a huge success and feedback was really positive. All children left with newly acquired culinary skills, hospitality skills and a confidence to help in the kitchen. Thank you to all those involved in the course. We hope that the year 4 families completing the course this term, will have just as much fun.
