Our children achieve THEIR BEST
Our children are taught to work hard and be resilient and reflective learners. Persistence is praised with the children achieving their personal standard of excellence through dedication to a growth mindset.
At Gray’s Farm, our goal is to develop children’s speaking and listening skills and give them opportunities to apply these in a variety of settings. While looking for what it takes to be a future employee we consider many different skills which can be applied and so many of them fall into our radio station.
We gather up a team of Hosts, Researchers, Interviewers and Script Writers to construct radio segments using our very own recording equipment. The children get the chance to build in confidence by trying out the different roles before the segment is then ‘broadcast’ to the school.
At Grays Farm Primary School, we recognise the growing importance of preparing our pupils to live safely, responsibly and respectfully in an
increasingly digital world. E-safety is not treated as a standalone subject but as a vital life skill that supports both safeguarding and personal
Development.
Children today are exposed to a variety of online platforms from an early age, making it essential that they are educated on how to navigate
these spaces with confidence and care. Our aim is to empower every pupil with the knowledge and understanding needed to make informed,
respectful and secure choices online. To achieve this, our E-safety provision is thoughtfully embedded across the curriculum, ensuring that
children receive consistent, relevant and age-appropriate guidance throughout their time at school.
