Year 3 - Science Museum Trip
On Friday 24th March, Year Three will be visiting the Science Museum in London. We will be travelling to and from the museum by public transport and eating a packed lunch whilst we are there. Children should arrive at school for 8:30am in order for us to have enough time to get on the train and leave before rush hour. We are expected to arrive back at school at approximately 4pm.
There is no fee to be paid for this trip however the last day that confirmation can be made is Friday 17th March. Consent can be given via the School Gateway even though there isn’t a payment to be made.
Your child will need to:
- Wear full school uniform (trainers/more comfortable shoes are permitted)
- Bring a packed lunch to eat at the museum – Lunches should not contain any items with nuts due to children with allergies
- Bring a waterproof coat in case it rains
You may give your child up to £3 cash which they can use when we visit the gift shop.
If your child is entitled to free school meals, we are able to provide him/her with a free packed lunch if required. If you are eligible and would like a packed lunch, please complete the appropriate section on the letter that went home today and return to school no later than the 17th March.
We are also looking for some parent helpers on the day for each class. Please see your class teacher if you would like to come on the trip with us.
