EYFS Minibeast Experience
On Tuesday 3 rd October, as part of our topics around Minibeasts in Reception and Forest School in Nursery,
we are lucky enough to have a visit from Andrew Smith’s Minibeast Workshop. The experience is for all of
EYFS and will be a valuable part of our related topic work for both year groups.
The experience will begin with the children learning the rules about how to handle the minibeasts and the
importance of washing their hands afterwards. They will then have a chance to handle a range of
Minibeasts if they wish to.
This exciting opportunity for the children will be a wonderful chance for them to learn all about the
creatures that they have been studying in class.
In order to cover the cost of this experience, we are asking for a contribution of £4 per child. This can be
paid via the School Gateway. Please make payments to the school by Tuesday 3 rd October 2023.
